Started working on Blog Factory
What is the difference between Post and Blog?
Why both don't show "posted by"?
What or Who are Followers?

Hello!

A blog is a collection of posts.
The posts shows when you view the post itself, but not on the posts lists. Good observation.
Users that are interested in a blog and bookmark it, so they can have easy access to all of their bookmarked blogs.

Thanks for the fast replay, Alex.

I thought Posts are like single articles not belonging to any blog :)
-- like Joomla's single article.

Ok, so bookmarking is like marking as favorite. Good.
Going by that, you are a Follower if you bookmark an article.
But I tried a bookmark and it didn't create a follower :)

And, Alex, you have not touched on another important question.
Why no "POSTED BY" is shown in any log or post that I posted?
Did I miss something?

Regards.

You need to bookmark a blog.

I think i did: "The posts shows when you view the post itself, but not on the posts lists. Good observation."

I see "This entry was posted by" at the bottom, not at the top along with published date, etc., (not like in a Joomla article). Can this me customized?

It can be customized by using a template override or directly editing file: [Joomla dir]/components/com_blogfactory/views/post/tmpl/default.php

Thanks.

Thanks for the information, Erik.
However, I don't feel it is a matter of deep or extensive code development.
It is about a very basic omission in BF
The widely accepted norm for articles is displaying the Byline along with published date, etc.
Hence my inquiry. No more discussion from my side.
All the best.
