Good to hear. Where do I get the new build from?

I've installed the new build and can confirm that it works again.

Well done!

If you have the time we would be happy to receive a review under:

extensions.joomla.org/extension/spam-protect-factory/

We are lacking reviews since unfortunately, satisfied customers rarely return to leave reviews, and most of the times we receive only revenge reviews, for situations outside our support range. Such low rated revenge reviews don't help a potential new user or us, nor the Joomla community. Since we started developing Joomla extensions 10 years ago, we have noticed that if a product is well rated, it's a win-win situation for everybody. Having a larger user base for a certain product means more and variate user feedback which are helping us to continuously improve the product and by thus bringing some financial resources that further help and sustain the development of the specified extension over a longer period of time, as we are striving with all our extensions.

Thank you for your time!

I've given you a good review for your great support.

I'm sorry to have to let you know that there might still be a glitch. I've been testing to see Joomla's behaviour when one tries to register without have accepted Cookies. I made quite a few registration attempts and was flagged as Spam, which is perfectly fine. When clicking on the activation link in the email I was sent to a 403 page (The requested page can't be found), which is not good. Even though one gets a 403 page, it seems that the user gets activated, but not enabled, which is fine since the user is blocked.

Maybe, I want to achieve "mission impossible", since I want to block a certain IP-address and a certain domain name.

These are my settings:

General Configuration
StopForumSpam Filtering: No
Check username: No
Frequency: 1
Logging: Block, Reject
Reject - Redirect URL: mysite.com/page

Filters
IP Filter: Yes
IP: A certain IP-address that is not my own
Domain Filter: Yes
Domain: A certain domain name that is not my own
Keyword Filter: No
Check username: No
Check method: Exact keyword match
Keyword: [blank]
Country Filter: No

I really don't understand why a user gets flagged as spam and blocked with this configuration, when the user neither use the IP-address or domain name that are filtered.

So, the issue is that a user registration gets flagged as spam, when it should not?

You are registering on your site with a different IP address and a different email domain than the ones in the above configuration, but you still get flagged as spam? Is this correct?

There're two issues:

1) That a user registration gets flagged as spam, when it should not.

2) When a user is flagged as spam and the user continues and click the link in the email for self activation, then it generates a 401 page. This happened when the redirect was done to a single article page with information about technical issues. I've change the redirect to the page of the registration form that the link in the email goes to, since the user might be blocked from any other page then the one set in the redirection.

We are unable to replicate this issues on our local test server, with the provided configuration.

Can you provide the actual registration details?

When you are receiving a 403 error, what message is displayed? Is this: "Verification code not found. Check if your account is already activated and try to log in."?
