Installation on 3.9.3: no vendor/autoload.php? 5 years 2 months ago #1

I installedFeedback factory on Joomla 3.9.3, the installation phase reported it as ok and it indeed works in the front-end, but in the back-end the component fails to show anything with the following error:
components/com_feedbackfactory/vendor/autoload.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
Indeed there is no such file. Other websites relate this to an installation issue such as I should "run Composer". I just installed from Joomla's back-end, trying both with the upload package and install from folder (after uploading trough ftp). Both resulted in the same thing.
I am a Joomla newbie, I used WP before. Could you please help?

I could get it to work by manually copying the vendor folder from the installation folder to where it was said to be missing. :-)
Why it did not work automatically... is something I do not know for the time being.

Hello!

You are right. We've just released a new build (same version) that contains a fix regarding this.
