Is it possible to limit the number of allocated votes each user has?

We would like to limit voting so that users have to choose their top 5 items
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Unfortunately, this feature is not implemented in the current release and there isn't an easy tweak for it.

We'll take your request into consideration for the next releases of the extension.
