Can't see other users published events

Hi,
For some reason when I create test events in my events factory by 2 different test users, the events they have created can really only be viewed & visible by the user who created them. (Themselves)
Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere which needs setting? I have set them to published so all looks to be ok.

User 1 can view the event they created in the calendar & the map but User 2 Can't
User 2 can view the event they created in calendar & map but user 1 can't.

So it looks like they can only view there own events & not ALL published events.
Any idea why this is please?
