I read all the instructions and actually I have the french package that you can install through the joomla backend.
Credit : translations.joomlapt.com

however on multiple language site (English, French) no translation happens when I'm on the french side. I don't care about all the language files except the component's language file. Should I go to the "blogfactory.xml" file in the "com_blogfactory" folder and add a line in that file to specify that the french version files are now available?

I know it's pretty easy to translate the files if you just want to use 1 language at a time, but I want to use 2 languages at the same time depending if the user created a french blog or English blog. If this is possible? I tried creating a category because I notice you can specify the language there, but that didn't work. The comment form is still English when the category was specified to use the french language. So my main question is.... is there any steps I'm forgetting now that I have 2 languages installed?

never mind... my problem was the flavor of french I was using. Site was configured to use fr-CA, while the package was fr-FR (France) . everything works fine. If you download the package in the above post I submit that you should change all instances of "Email" to "Adresse courriel" or just "Courriel" seem like that translation is missed by a lot of people.

sorry, got mixed up with the flavors of the language. and like you specified in the instructions... you have to follow the naming conventions with a strict protocol.

Here is the traduction in Spanish for the version 4.3.3.

I'm now translating the version 4.3.7. When I finished I upload the flie.zip to install in Joomla.
