Since for free products (Blog Factory for Joomla 3.x) we do not offer also free tweaks, like in case of our commercial products (when the time allows), place here please your suggestions, since we are willing to improve the product and offer it continuously free for the Joomla Community.

For each suggestion, please provide a comprehensive description. Thank you!

It would be great to have some way to import Joomla content into the blogs. I've just migrated from Drupal and plan to use Blog Factory to replicate the user's blogs but I'll have to import the blog posts manually.

I second that. You can export (called, very poorly, import) BF articles to Joomla - of little to zero use IMHO, but no way to go the other way that I see - which would be ultimately more useful.

This forum should start a Best Practices category for each extension, so that users could benefit from more experienced users.

@pinto buck

We are running this site since 2007 and unfortunately during the years I noticed that there is not much involvement from users towards other users. Posts are regularly only on possible issues, tweaks or customization. Once solved, it's Good Bye! It's the same like with reviews; the chances to receive a bad review from an angry customers are far greater then the one to receive it from a happy one.

One of the reasons we still decided to maintain the forum, and not close it like some other software house, was to have a knowledge base for the community.
The forum, together with the product documentation should serve as an insight to all product features and capabilities.

Hi all!
I've created category and subcategory for the posts;
but the menu button (that point to the category) create only a category view page.
It could be better with subcategory selector!

...please, is it possible to implement this feature? :)
